Can a digital footprint change in five weeks? As our Web 2.0 class comes to an end, we were required to do a second round on our "Vanity Search".

I started typing my first and last name in quotation marks on the Google search engine and hit enter. I quickly encountered my e-folio and my blog, which it had previously popped out in my first vanity search. However, I scrolled a bit down, and I noticed my Twitter account was now part of my digital footprint.

During our Web 2.0 course, I was able to explore different platforms and learn more about them. Yet, I think the biggest takeaway for me was Twitter. I am more active on this platform, and continuously retweet educational trends that I am interested in. So it was to no surprise that I would find my Twitter account.

I think a digital footprint symbolizes who you are, and it is vital to have an image that will portray your real identity. Although I am a bit conservative and very adamant in private settings, I am glad I have a digital footprint that showcases who I am as a professional. I am an educator intrigued by our evolving technology, an educator that is continuously growing in knowledge, and an educator that fosters a learning environment that inspires creativity. My efolio, blog, and Twitter account all symbolize my true identity.
